Somatic Movement Classes
Somatic Movements are simple, gentle and pain-free. Find out how to easily release tension and discomfort from your body as you gain more self-awareness and voluntary control. Your instructor is Hody Lye, is a Registered Massage Therapist and all classes will be held here at Somatic Balance Massage Therapy.
Beginner:
In five lessons, you'll learn how to do the 'Daily Cat Stretch', as well as other gentle movement patterns, so you can bring grace to your movements. The 'Daily Cat Stretch' is a simple daily exercise pattern which you do quickly and easily.
Wednesday Evenings - Jan 11, 18, 25, Feb 1 & 8 - 8:15 to 9:15pm
Intermediate:
Become more supple and correct the 'Swayed Back and Protruding Belly'. These are great lessons that teach you how to control back pain and tension.
Tuesday Evenings - Jan 10, 17, 24, 31 & Feb 1 - 8:00 to 9:00pm
Wednesday Evenings - Jan 11, 18, 25, Feb 1 & 8 - 7:00 to 8:00pm
The cost of each 5 lesson course is $65 and pre-registration is required as class sizes are limited.
